Pekin duck

We purchased 6 pekin duck 50% off from Tractor Supply, they had been there over a week so we decided to roll the dice on them. These ducks were purchased purely for meals, and boy are we glad we went this route before getting a different breed! These ducks are SO gross; Requiring more maintenance than we are interested in giving to one species. Between their water clean out, poop probs, and overall fly attraction, we are glad to have a dispatch date scheduled for these massive duckies. 
We may do ducks once or twice a year dependent on how smoothly the dispatch goes and how good the meal is. 

We have perfected our duck pen and now allow them to free range! This change has allowed us to continue to farm and keep ducks!!
