peafowl

Just another day in agricultural paradise.

Peafowl

OK YOU CAUGHT ME. We have no real NEED for a peacock except they are beautiful creatures. My grandparents always tried to keep a peacock at their home and honestly I just wanted one. I am still on a search to find him some ladies so stay tuned for that acquisition.

Meet Darwin!
He is 9months old. Did you know it takes 2-3 years for a peacock to grow his tail feathers?? I didn't.

We have finally acquired some peaHENS. We purchased 2 peahens. An India Blue and a Purple Black Shoulder. They should make great companions (once they are old enough) for our Spalding, Darwin.
We also got a straight run white peachick. We will not know the gender for some time! He or she should be gorgeous and will contribute to making pied babies in the future.
