black angus

Just another day in agricultural paradise.

BLack angus

Our bottle babies are here! On our plans for our farmette were always COWS! Our babies were delivered and they are just TOO CUTE! 2 black angus and one black angus cross. The 2 full blood we will keep to breed and the cross will be raised solely for the freezer. They are 2 weeks and 3 weeks old and getting 2 bottles a day each. The children were so excited to wake up to these 3 babes.

Our Angus are almost a year old now and doing great! Our cows are just for our family as part of our homesteading journey. We will be processing one this fall and attempting AI on the other two. The one chosen for processing is just very small and will probably not do well with pregnancy on top of bad confirmation. Hopefully the other two get pregnant easily and bring us some good beef for the future!
